History
After the surrender of the Belgian army on 28 May 1940 several dozen fallen soldiers are buried in this small plot of honour that also contains military casualties who died in the local hospital. Most of them are subsequently transferred to their former places of residence. Today, four casualties still rest here.
Ronse resistance fighters and political prisoners are also buried here, but these resting places are monitored by the local authority.
